Fire hydrant system is a safety measure or emergency equipment required in buildings that comprises a series of components that when assembled together provide a source of water to assist fire.

Lack of access to water mains can be a common problem for firefighters when they arrive at premises that are on fire. This is a particular problem for multi-storey buildings, including apartment blocks, tall housing and office buildings.

Another problem for the fire service can be low mains pressure at the point of connection. Having a dry riser installed can address these problems as it provides ready access to water on every floor of a building and provides high water pressure on every floor of a building.

Sprinklers save lives

Designed to extinguish flames quickly, fire sprinklers are a cost effective and dependable fire life safety solution and an integral part of a successful fire safety strategy.

A well designed and installed sprinkler system will automatically detect heat from a fire, sound the alarm and release water directly onto the source of the fire. While fire detection systems alert inhabitants to a fire, a compliant sprinkler system; actively fights fires, controls and limits its advancement and helps to prevent potential disasters.

We deliver high quality Fire Sprinkler Installations to both the Residential and Commercial sector.

Fire Pump Room

A fire pump Room is a part of a fire sprinkler, internal and external Hydrant system’s water supply and can be powered by electric, diesel pump. The pump intake is connected to the independent fire sump. The pump provides water flow at a higher pressure to the sprinkler system, risers and hose standpipes.

A fire pump is tested and listed for its use specifically for fire service by a third-party testing and listing agency, such as UL or FM Global. The main code that governs fire pump installations is the National Fire Protection Association’s NFPA 20 Standard for the Installation of Stationary Fire Pumps for Fire Protection

Jockey Pump:
A pump of small capacity which is set to come into
operation automatically with drop in static pressure
in the system and to automatically stop when the preset pressure is reached again.
Terrace Pump:
An electrically driven pump, located on the terrace
connected to a terrace tank with gate valve on suction
side and to the internal hydrant system with non-return
valve on delivery side.
Fire Pump:
An electric/diesel pump installed at static water tank
to charge the wet riser systems/sprinkler system, etc.
